Bumrungrad just published the cost for all major procedures on their website. I am sure other top tier private hospitals in Bangkok will folllow suit very soon. This is really good for patient seeking care to compare cost across various hospitals. Some examples (All amounts in Thai Baht, $US 1 = 34 Baht):Colonoscopy from 22,000 to 25,000 (median 23,500)
Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) from 600,000 to 749,000 (median 707,000)
Total Hip Replacement from 361,000 to 447,800 (median 414,000)
Discectomy from 159,000 to 232,000 (median 195,000)
Last month another hospital, Bangkok Hospital Medical Center, had an all-inclusive CABG package on sale for 480,000 Baht. That was a deal!
