Dr Surapong operated on my lumbar spine in 2007. I found him the most patient-centered approach of any surgeon I've met (and I'm a doctor myself, so I've met many). During my first consultation with him he took the trouble to find out what kind of person I was and what physical activities I hoped to resume, so he was able to explain the implications of the surgery I needed, and the constraints I would face afterwards, in a way that was relevant to my lifestyle. The surgery itself was completely successful. Prior to my operation I could barely walk 50 meters extremely slowly, but within 3 months I could walk 10 kilometers in two hours.
