Dr. Chidpong writes to us that it's unfair to him that people post negative feedback about him. Here is his full email:

Dear Web master

My name is Dr. Chidpong Thongkum. I request for inspection the comments under my name.
I think this was not fair to me and even worst ,there were incorrect  information  that  disturbed our beloved institute.
I work for the royal family which is true but  my private practice  is nothing to do with the institute.
I can’t stand this and so does our Royal guard authority .
Please do something ( e.g.: delete my name from your web site or send me the sender IP address ).
Or else I will report this incident to the Government ‘s authority that that take care for this issues.
My e mail address : [removed]

                                                                                                   Gr.capt. Chidpong Thongkum MD.

I was wondering if those comments praised him would he still say it's unfair?

Is it fair for patients to see a doctor not knowing anything about him/her at all? I don't think so. When you want to check out a new restaurant, a new movie, etc, you ask around for opinions, because you don't want to waste your time and money on something not worth the plate it is on. Here we're talking about your life, your only one life. This site and others like this is meant to empower patients with information they never had. So instead of shouting "unfair", maybe the doctor should try to give better care to his patients.

Another poor PR stunt made by my favorite hospital. Of all the magazines out there, it's PC World who picked up this "news".  It appeared that Bumrungrad has just introduced a robotic system for dispensing inpatient medication. The hospital's CTO, Chang Foo, claimed the robots "have boosted safety significantly at the hospital" [emphasis mine].

Huh?
